Brain Surgeons NYC at the birthplace of Punk

This is a video from the Brain Surgeons Save CBGB show at CBGB on October 20 2005. The video is inter-cut with videos from other shows in Germany, Jackson MS, Philly and NYC and still images from the town of Clayton NY. The videos were provided by CBGB, Mike Frigerio, Dominique Berard and the old pictures from Clayton are from the book Images of America CLAYTON by Verda S. Corbin & Shane A. Hutchinson, Arcadia Pub. 1998
The song 1864 is a tribute to my great-great grandfather, Joseph Longsway. I got the story from a newspaper article where he told of the events leading to his getting the Congressional Medal of Honor. My father stayed with him briefly when his parents were in mourning because most of their parents had died in the flu epidemic of 1918. It is also a tribute to my family, the people of Clayton NY and all brave Americans regardless of their origins.
